Yellowstone Harley-Davidson is proud to be part of Rider’s Edge®, a
Harley-Davidson-sponsored rider training program.
These rider-training courses combine classroom learning with range riding, taught by experienced, certified instructors. You’ll enjoy learning to ride on the Buell® Blast®, a lightweight, easy-to-handle sportbike.
After successfully completing the course and passing a written knowledge test as well as a riding test, you will receive your Motorcycle Safety Foundation® card. This makes you exempt from taking the driving test when applying for your Montana motorcycle driver’s license.
Cost: $300 for a 25-hour class
Requirements:
A valid automobile driver’s license or learner’s permit
The skills to be able to ride a bicycle
A heavy, long-sleeve shirt or leather jacket
Jeans, chaps or leather pants
Over-the-ankle, sturdy footwear
Full-fingered gloves
Protective eyewear
